Nøsen is located in spectacular surroundings in the County of Oppland, halfway between Hemsedal and Fagernes. The Norwegian Ashtanga yoga teacher Alexander Medin acquired Nøsen Mountain Hotel in 2015 and has turned it into a yoga retreat centre; a place that is at once intensely vibrant and serene. He welcomes us to hold a tai chi workshop here this fall. By then, the autum colours will be starting to show.

The workshop will take place over the weekend of September 8-10, 2017. The cost is   NOK 3,000. This covers tai chi training, lodging and three meals a day for two full days from Friday dinner until Sunday afternoon.

Friends and family of all ages are welcome to come along. Alexander is offering them a day rate of NOK 900 per person for three meals + lodging. (You will be hard pressed to find a better rate in the Norwegian mountains!) Children aged 3-16 are half price. Babies are free.

Participants, friends and family are welcome to arrive a few days early or to stay on a few days afterwards to experience this amazing place. The same day rate of NOK 900 per person applies for the extra days. Please scroll down for more information about the hotel's facilities and how to register.

The main common room has a fire place, a huge sofa, excellent tea and coffee facilities and a fantastic view of the mountatins.
