Welcome to a tai chi workshop in the Norwegian mountains.

Ann Danaiya Usher, who has been living in Norway for 20 years, and Ann’s teacher Philippe Gagnon, based in Montréal, invite you to what we hope will be an exciting and inspiring workshop in a very beautiful part of Norway. The details are still in the planning stages, but please hold the dates! With his deep understanding of movement, Philippe will guide students through an intensely transformative experience of tai chi. Ann will share ‘tai chi grammar’, a methodology of teaching tai chi that facilitates a deeper connection with the movement of the spine. It is our hope that students will benefit from the synergies arising from these two approaches. We have also invited Andy Jukes from the UK, who started practicing tai chi ten years ago after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s, to present his thoughts and experience of tai chi.
